Daily Devotional. They that forsake the law (Truth) praise the wicked: but such as keep the law (Truth) contend with them. Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things. Proverbs 28:4,5. Are Christians being picky and legalistic when they decide they want to teach a Truth about a specific something and possibly trash a man-made “tradition” to replace it with a Biblical Truth? At what point will a Believer stand up and say, “Enough is enough, I’m only going to Preach/Teach Truth from here on out, as best I understand it” Yes, we can all Grow in Christ, especially when we start with something, and seek out a Biblical Truth “better” than what we used to think was “true”. There’s no condemnation here, we can ALL Grow in Greater Understanding as we ask the Holy Spirit to show us more of Christ and His Ways. Truth WILL come out on top as we tear out any rotten foundations the world has been feeding us for years. It’s not too bad to teach a lie, AS LONG AS WE WILL TRASH THE LIE WHEN WE ARE SHOWN THE TRUTH ABOUT IT. Corrections may take time to “get it right”, but corrections get easier and easier to change from lies to Truths when the Holy Spirit is Teaching. Study to shew thyself Approved, takes time and effort, but the Results are “out of this world”. How far and how fast do you want to get to the Truth and trash a lie? Your “speed of Growth” is totally up to you. Today’s a great day to ask the Lord for Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding about whatever’s important in your Life. It’s the little foxes that spoil the vine, it’s the little lies that try to spoil the Truth. If we attack the “little” lies now, they won’t grow into big “bad theology” later. Much bad theology still hangs around today because, “that’s how it’s always been taught” and no one questioned it in the beginning as a little lie.
