Daily Devotional. The LORD hath made all things for Himself: yea, EVEN THE WICKED for the Day of Evil. Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though Hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished. By Mercy and Truth iniquity is purged: and by the Fear of the LORD men depart from evil. The highway of the Upright is to Depart from evil: he that keepeth His Way preserveth his soul. He that handleth a matter Wisely shall find GOoD: and whoso Trusteth in the LORD, HAPPY IS HE. Proverbs 16:4-6,17, 20. The Lord has plans for every man, woman and child on planet Earth. You can either be a Willing Participant, through Salvation, and do your best at Obeying the Lord in His Plan, OR you can fight the Lord tooth and nail as He’ll STILL use you in His Plan anyway. One way you’ll Walk in His Blessings, the other way you’ll lose out, miss out and be left out of all His available Blessings anyway. If you fight the Lord, you’ll have no understanding of all the things going on around you, but if you Walk with the Lord you’ll see all those Blessings and Wonder why you’re sssooo Blessed. A good illustration of fighting the Lord would be to look at Pharoah in the Old Testament as he fought God with everything he could. The Lord’s Will WILL be done, and it’s a lot more Fun if you’re a Willing Participant. Either way, saved or lost, you’ll know the Lord is on the Move and that He wants you in the middle of for all. Deep down, EVERYONE Knows there IS a God, it’s just up to you to decide if you want to Walk WITH Him, or against Him. Do you KNOW Christ, or do you NO Christ? Either way, on the Great White Throne Judgment Day is when you’ll see ALL the Results of your Life of Service, or disservice, to the Lord, and it will be the Ultimate in Rejoicing, or utter despair for fighting the Lord at every turn.
