Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 4901

Daily Devotional. And ye have forgotten the Exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, (as sons), My son, despise not thou the Chastening (discipline) of the Lord, nor faint when thou art Rebuked (education or training) of Him: For whom the Lord Loveth He Chasteneth (instructs), and Scourgeth (punishes) every son whom He Receiveth (to acknowledge as His Own). Hebrews 12:5-6. A friend commented yesterday, “Being a Christian is hard”, and her husband said, “Yes it is, and it’s the best Thing going, I wouldn’t change it for anything”, and all agreed. Many people seem to think the tough part is getting someone Saved, but that’s really the job of the Holy Spirit, he’s the “Heavy Lifter” there. All a person has to do is say “Yes” to His Offer of Salvation unto Repentance. That’s the easy part. Getting Saved is like going through a door into a big warehouse and having the lights turned on. So many things, so many options and ways to go, what’s a person to do? First off, we’re given a Book that has all the information we’ll ever need to navigate in this warehouse. The Bible. And we’re told to study it from cover to cover, and study it again. It even gives personalized Instructions to every single person in the warehouse so each person Knows what to do and together, The Job gets done like a well oiled machine with everyone working together. And we have a Floor Manager, the Holy Spirit, to guide, direct, educate AND DISCIPLINE each one of us as we learn how to do our Job to the best of our abilities. And He does His Job with Mercy and Grace to everyone with His Love and Compassion to all. Yes, it’s a Tough Job, sometimes Hard, and even Heart Breaking, BUT EVERYONE “WORKING IN THE WAREHOUSE” WILL AGREE, IT’S THE BEST THING GOING AND QUITTING ISN’T IN THEIR VOCABULARY. Their Love for the Finished Product is what keeps them going through the easy times, and the hard times. Christ IS and has the Answer to ALL your problems, situations and circumstances, just Trust Him and, Be Blessed.
