Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 4779

Daily Devotional. And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I WILL PRAISE THEE: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me. Behold, God is my Salvation; I WILL TRUST, AND NOT BE AFRAID: for the LORD JEHOVAH IS MY STRENGTH AND MY SONG ; He ALSO is become MY SALVATION. Therefore WITH JOY shall ye draw water out of the wells of Salvation. And in that day shall YE SAY, PRAISE THE LORD, CALL UPON HIS NAME, DECLARE HIS DOINGS among the people, MAKE MENTION that His Name is Exalted. SING UNTO THE LORD; for He hath done Excellent Things: this is known in all the earth. CRY OUT AND SHOUT, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee. Isaiah 12:1-6. Think of Dad standing in the swimming pool with his arms, in the water, outstretched, and telling his little boy to jump into the pool, and to just trust Daddy to keep him safe. The little boy will get wet, splashed on and even, for a moment, neck deep in the water, before Daddy scoops him up in a big hug and says, “Thank you for Trusting me”. This is just what the Lord is telling us, His people, to just Trust Him with today’s “challenge”, because as soon as we pass today’s test, we will be much better prepared for tomorrow’s test. By the way, we must pass each test, or challenge, before we can move on to the next one. Building Trust is like building a block foundation, if you leave a few blocks out here and there, the foundation won’t hold when the pressure comes. Tomorrow’s challenge will be a little harder than today’s, they’re designed that way. It’s a Wonderful day when the Lord, “Daddy”, says “Jump”, and you instantly jump and ask, “How high?” on the way up. No hesitation, no thinking about it, just a Joyful, “Yes Sir, Gladly Sir”, while already on your way to Obedience. To establish a relationship of absolute Trust and instant Obedience with the Lord is His Ultimate Desire for all His children, even as they jump into the “dark” with full Assurance to, Be Blessed.
