Daily Devotional. A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it. And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture. And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it. And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when He had said these things, He cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. And He said, Unto you it is given to know the Mysteries of the Kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand. Luke 8:5-8,10. Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the Faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates. 2 Corinthians 13:5&6. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he that doeth the Will of my Father which is in Heaven. Matthew 7:21. BE CAREFUL “BELIEVERS”, THIS CAN HAPPEN TO YOU! I’ll start to explain. Most people Preach the 4 soils as Preaching to “lost” people, not yet being Believers, and that’s True, but these verses also apply to ALL “Believers”, BOTH “SAVED” AND “LOST”. “Study to shew thyself Approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH”. 2 Timothy 2:15. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AS THERE’S A LOT HERE TO BREAK DOWN AND CLARIFY. This is not to sew doubt and confusion, but to bring clarity to the words “Lost” and “Saved”. Be patient as we dive into “The Light”. “Through thy Precepts I get Understanding: therefore I hate every false way. Thy Word is a Lamp unto my feet, and a Light unto my path”. Psalm 119:104-105. “And the WORK of Righteousness shall be Peace; and the EFFECT of Righteousness Quietness and Assurance for ever”. Isaiah 32:17. Understand all this, and you will, Be Blessed.
