Daily Devotional. Open to me the gates of Righteousness: I will go into them, and I will Praise the LORD: This gate of the LORD, into which the Righteous shall enter. I will Praise Thee: for Thou hast heard me, and art become my Salvation. This is the LORD’S doing; it is Marvelous in our eyes. This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will Rejoice and be glad in it. Save now, I beseech Thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech Thee, send now prosperity. Thou art my God, and I will Praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt Thee. O give Thanks unto the LORD; for He is GOoD : for His Mercy ENDURETH FOR EVER. Psalm 118:19-21,23-25,28-29. This is a (wo)man who has heard that there is a God and that He is offering something called Salvation. “Whatever that is, I want it”. Knowing there’s something better than what he’s got right now, he blindly enters in and finds a whole new world of Blessings he never knew we’re available. These Blessings aren’t just to think about and maybe you can pick one or two, no, these Blessings Tackle this person who has blindly entered into this thing called Salvation, and have covered him up. The first thing to jump on him is “Burden Lifted” with no more feeling like the whole weight of the world is on his shoulders. Then the “Peace That Passes Understanding” along with his buddy, “The Joy Of The Lord” both tackle him so much and so hard he can’t get away from them, AND HE LOVES IT. And then Prosperity moves in and starts to show him some of the ways the Lord will forever take Care of him, so much that he no longer needs to worry about any “Things Of The World” anymore. Food, clothing, shelter, transportation, all these things are now for the Lord to worry about, he’s now called to a much higher lever of “Concern”, a Concern and Godly Love for the lost, a new Concern for people left where he just came from. Now (s)he wants to tell those lost people all about what (s)he’s found, things they can’t even comprehend, yet, but with Great Hopes, they soon will, Be Blessed.
