And (Jesus) spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up: Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them: But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. Matthew 13:3-9. Another simple Truth from this parable is that these “seeds” are the Living Word of God and they will never be lost or wasted. For example, you “Preach, Teach and Fellowship with a lost man his whole life and he’s still determined he doesn’t want your Christ as his Lord and Saviour ever, and he dies in his sins, NOT ONE WORD YOU GAVE HIM FROM THE BIBLE IS LOST OR WASTED. The Word of God is far to Precious and was Paid For at Great Expense to be ” thrown aside” as if it didn’t do any good and was a waste of time. No, EVERY Word you gave him will stand with him on Judgment Day to testify against him, the lost man, as he’s Condemned to Eternal Death. And as a side note, there’s no telling who may have overheard you talking about the Lord and your Words changed THEIR life from lost, to Saved. Even if the Proverbial Crow snatches up The Word before it can change a man’s Heart isn’t “wasted”, it has to go somewhere and it will bring Life to someone, or Testify against them. To us, that seed may look wasted, but it is Packed so Full of Life it’s impossible for it to do “nothing”. The Word WILL bring Life to someone, anyone, everyone no matter where it falls whether we see it or not. Yes, your Friend may end up in Hell, “So shall My Word be that goeth forth out of My Mouth: IT SHALL NOT return unto Me Void…” Isaiah 55:11. Be Blessed.
