Daily Devotional. Hold up my goings in Thy Paths, that my footsteps slip not. I have called upon Thee, for Thou wilt hear me, O God: incline Thine Ear unto me, and hear my speech. Shew Thy Marvelous Lovingkindness, O Thou that Savest by Thy Right Hand them which put their Trust in Thee from those that rise up against them. Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the Shadow of Thy Wings, As for me, I will behold Thy Face in Righteousness: I shall be Satisfied, when I awake, with Thy Likeness. Psalm 17:5-8,15. These Words, even as a daily Prayer and Heart Cry Attitude, can be very comforting with the understanding that the Lord will always, at all times, hear the Prayers and Heart’s Cry of the Believer no matter what the situations or circumstances. We KNOW the Lord will keep us Safe in Him. And THAT will bring a Comfort, Peace and Joy that no lost person can understand. But this is not a “get out of jail free card”. The Lord will keep us SPIRITUALLY safe in Him, with or without the Physically Safe part. It may be that the Lord will keep you physically safe from death, even when everything is looking like you’ll die at any moment. Or it may be that you KNOW that Satan can’t touch you Spiritually, but physically, this may be the moment the Lord actually does “call you Home” to be with Him in Heaven for all Eternity. Whether He saves you physically or not, it’s always His Call as you freely Testify of the Exceedingly Abundant Mercy and Grace extended to you as you Testify of Him, whichever way He Decides. You live, you die, either way you are with the Lord physically AND Spiritually as you Walk out each step, WHEREVER the Lord decides. Your Peace and Joy, no matter what, is what baffles and confuses the lost as your life, moment by moment, Testifies of Him, no matter where you are in the “next” moment. It’s always a “win win” for you as the world sees you “Resting in the Lord” and the Holy Spirit uses your Testimony to bring forth even more lost sheep into the fold to, Be Blessed.
