Daily Devotional. Hold up my goings in Thy Paths, that my footsteps slip not. I have called upon Thee, for Thou wilt hear me, O God: incline Thine Ear unto me, and hear my speech. Shew Thy Marvelous Lovingkindness, O Thou that Savest by Thy Right Hand them which put their Trust in Thee from those that rise up against them. Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the Shadow of Thy Wings, As for me, I will behold Thy Face in Righteousness: I shall be Satisfied, when I awake, with Thy Likeness. Psalm 17:5-8,15. There are times in a Believer’s Life when you’re just not sure which way to go or even how you’re going to get there. There’s no question, you’re still in and with the Lord, you’ve not lost your Faith, you’re just not sure which way to go. That’s OK, there will be those times of uncertainty in the direction you’re going. Not confused, just not really sure of what the next move should be. Maybe it’s time to hold still, take a breath, gather your thoughts and lay them all out before the Lord, and ask Him for some Guidance as to what even THE next step should be. This is not a “Life Crisis”, just a time of questioning what to do next as you put one foot in front of another asking the Lord to Direct your steps. Yes, we are to “run the race”, but there are times when “The Race” seems more like a slow obstacle course and you’re looking for the best way to get around an obstacle you’re not familiar with. Maybe left, maybe right, maybe over or maybe under, just not sure of the direction, BUT WITH THE LORD’S HELP, WE WILL GET PAST THIS THING WE’VE NOT DEALT WITH BEFORE. Life doesn’t need to be “confusing”, but it can be a little “questioning” as we continue to Seek His Face for the next step. Be Encouraged, the Lord hasn’t left you, and you haven’t left the Lord, you just need some close “Micromanaging” from the Lord for a bit. Eventually it will all come together, and you’ll be “off and running” again, like before. Just know that the “slow and steady” is still a way to, Be Blessed.
