Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 4501

Daily Devotional. But he that received Seed into the good ground is he that heareth the Word, and UNDERSTANDETH it; which also BEARETH Fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. Matthew 13:23. Let’s take a minute and look at the Delay of time. As all farmers, and most people know, when you plant a seed, by Faith, you Expect it to Grow, BUT NOT OVERNIGHT. All Seeds take time to “do their thing” in the ground away from the curious eyes of the Sower. (A little Mercy here for this Illustration please). Remember that Godly DNA in each one of us? The “planted Seed” clock started the moment you were born. Also, “But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the Glory of the Lord”. Numbers 14:21. We’re talking “GOoD Ground” here so this good ground person EVENTUALLY will come to Christ, no matter how long it takes. Continuing, you come along and Preach Christ to him, no response. Time passes, many “seeds” planted to no avail? No, BUT MUCH WATERING, FERTILIZING, WEED PULLING is going on as the little Seed is still doing it’s thing inside that GOoD Soil. One day, you again Preach to him and he instantly falls on his knees begging Christ for Forgiveness, WE’VE GOT FRUIT. This is not “instant Fruit”, this is the Harvest of that Seed planted long ago, AND YOU GET CREDIT FOR WORKING THE FIELDS WHITE UNTO HARVEST. This little illustration is not meant to “change” Christ’s Parable but to fill in the time gap from Planted to Harvesting. We humans get the Privilege of working WITH the Holy Spirit as HE Grows the Seeds in the Fields. To get a Harvest of one, or many, is ALWAYS exciting, and every Seed Harvested itself goes on to bear some thirty, some sixty, some a hundred fold increase. ALL PRAISE AND THANKS TO THE LORD HOWEVER THEY COME IN TO “THE FOLD”. Whatever your little job is in Working the Fields, REJOICE, it’s ALL GOoD no matter who has a hand in it. Believer, even if you never see Fruit in your life, DON’T DESPAIR, your Work IS, Be(ing) Blessed.
