Daily Devotional. But SEEK ye FIRST the Kingdom of GOD, and His Righteousness; and ALL these things shall be added unto you. TAKE therefore NO THOUGHT FOR the (TO) MORROW: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Matthew 6:33-34. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the Heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that Love Him. 1 Corinthians 2:9. To read these 2 verses ONLY, can, and sometimes is, used by people to keep you in fear of tomorrow. The first verse says don’t worry about the future, and the second says, because no one knows the future. That right there almost automatically calls for fear of the future. But to put this into PROPER, FULL BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVE, let’s add the rest of verse 9 to include verse 10. “BUT GOD HATH REVEALED THEM UNTO US BY HIS SPIRIT: FOR THE SPIRIT SEARCHETH ALL THINGS, YEA, THE DEEP THINGS OF GOD.” 1 Corinthians 2:10. NOW we go from “Don’t worry and you don’t know”, to “Don’t worry about the future you can’t see with your natural physical eyes and ears, because by the Lord’s Holy Spirit, He WILL show you everything you NEED to Know to Follow Christ with NO FEAR”. We can Generally Know the Major Things that are coming, and even why they are coming, and that should be enough to Build our Faith to hold on to while the Lord works on all the small details we don’t yet see but Walk by Faith into. Case in point, we KNOW the 7 year Tribulation is coming, so no surprise, NO FEAR. What we don’t know is the day to day doings the Lord will use to keep each one of us in Christ, AS HE WILL LOSE NOT EVEN ONE OF HIS SHEEP. Think about it, if you knew EVERYTHING about your future with even the day the Lord calls you Home, wouldn’t that pretty much take all the Fun out of Faith and Trusting the Lord? Well, for some of us the Mystery of not knowing, WITH THE FAITH THAT GOD HAS EVERYTHING UNDER CONTROL, is a great way to Walk into, Be Blessed.
