Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 4359

Daily Devotional. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall He not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Matthew 6:30. Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. Matthew 10:16. Until the moment the Lord Jesus Christ comes to receive His Bride, we will be here on earth dealing with all that Life has to offer. As the days get darker with even more evil abounding everywhere, we Believers will especially need to be even more led by the Directing of the Holy Spirit just to make it safely through another day. SPIRITUALLY, He will keep us Safe in the Palm of His Hand. But PHYSICALLY, walking on this earth day by day, the Lord WILL keep us physically safe, UNTIL THE MOMENT HE CALLS US HOME TO BE WITH HIM FOR ETERNITY. We are Assured of “spiritual safety” Eternally, but our physical safety can end at any moment. NO FEAR HERE, Just know that death is the way He calls us Home. BUT UNTIL He Calls, we do need to be even more acutely aware of even the slightest change in Direction as the Holy Spirit Directs us. We can easily see our Way in the bright daylight, but as “darkness” falls, we  MUST be evermore diligent to Obey EVERYTHING the Holy Spirit asks us to do. I’ll illustrate. You may be able to actually close your eyes on a smooth straight section on the Interstate Highway for a full second, (like during a sneeze), and still be reasonably safe. But on a dark, curvey back road, closing your eyes for even a second can get you killed. Pay more attention on the dark back road, just like pay more attention to the leading of the Holy Spirit in the coming “darker” days, and nights. NO FEAR, you’re safe until the Lord says otherwise, at which point you’ll go Home to be with Christ. No one is Assured of tomorrow, here on earth. BUT WHILE HERE, practice Hearing and Obeying that still small Voice of the Holy Spirit Directing you to diligently, Be Blessed.
