But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey My Voice, and I WILL be your God, and ye shall be My People: and Walk ye in all the ways that I have Commanded you, THAT IT MAY BE WELL UNTO YOU. But THEY, (The congregation AND the “prophets, preachers and teachers”) hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward. Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day, (that’s TODAY folks), I have even sent unto you all My servants* the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them: Yet they* hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but hardened their neck: they did worse than their fathers. Therefore thou shalt speak all these Words unto them; BUT THEY WILL NOT HEARKEN TO THEE: thou shalt also call unto them; BUT THEY WILL NOT ANSWER THEE. But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the Voice of the Lord their (used to be) God, nor receiveth correction: Truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth. Jeremiah 7:23-28. Please notice “servants*” earlier. This can be read and understood as the Lord sending His Godly, Holy, Prophets, Preachers and Teachers unto the peoples of the land, and they don’t, won’t, listen. This “servants*” can also be read as those, (lower case), phony prophets, preachers and teachers who “looked and somewhat sounded” like men of God, BUT WEREN’T, AND SOLD OUT FOR MONEY, FAME AND POWER. This is America today. Our pulpits are (mostly) full of phonies preaching and teaching everything BUT The Gospel. (My Belief). America is headed for the trash heap of “has-beens” as a nation and will never come back. Everything about God is mocked, laughed at and ridiculed. Everything once Right, is now wrong, and everything once wrong is now right. BELIEVERS, DON’T BE DISHEARTENED, THESE THINGS MUST COME TO PASS AS WRITTEN IN THE WORD OF GOD. America is going down, BUT TRUE BELIEVERS WILL, BE BLESSED.
