And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord ; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord : and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins. Isaiah 11:2-5. This is talking about Christ and Christ is talking about you. Is this your prayer? Is this the kind of Life you want to live? Nowhere in the Bible does it say, “Don’t copy, look like, imitate, or try to be like Christ”. Nowhere. Ok, it’s open season with no holds barred. GO AHEAD, BE LIKE CHRIST, FOLLOW HIM, OBEY HIM, TRUST HIM, SEEK HIM, and don’t stop until you reach Perfection. OK, Perfection may not happen (?) on this side, but keep going anyway until the Lord tells you to stop. There are too many people running around telling you, you can’t do this and you can’t do that. So turn the tables on them all and declare, testify, make known, I WILL NEVER QUIT UNTIL I REACH PERFECTION, CHRISTLIKENESS, AND ALL ELSE GOD HAS FOR ME. Yes, the world will hate you and may even kill you. So what. You will die heading towards Perfection, or you will die IN PERFECTION. Either way, YOU WIN.
