Daily Devotional. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, PEACE, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23. And the PEACE of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7. PEACE; of Christianity, the tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and content with its earthly lot, of whatsoever sort that is. The peace of God is a powerful thing. It flies up in the face of anything going on around you. If a riot suddenly breaks out, in the world, fear will try to rise up in you. But in Christ, as a Christian, the Peace of the Lord will rise up and cast down any fear of anything, leaving you with an assurance that all is well, that the Lord has everything under His control, and that you are at peace with the Lord trusting Him to keep you however He wants, again, with no fear. The Lord can show you a Way of Escape, or He may call you Home, either way, you are at total peace resting in His Decision to take care of you, His Bondservant. The world has no Peace, their peace is literally a break giving them time to reload. When one comes to Christ through Salvation, the Peace of the Lord, one of His attributes, enters him and starts to grow. Peace WILL grow as he grows in Christ. Ask for the Peace of Christ to grow in you as you grow in Christ, and, Be Blessed.
