Daily Devotional. And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? IF THE LORD BE GOD, FOLLOW HIM: BUT IF BAAL, THEN FOLLOW HIM. And the people answered him not a word. 1 Kings 18:21 This is the question before the 4 walls grassy front yard church today. The Christians, the Followers of God already know this and are growing in Christ and Holiness. Is God who He says He is, or not? The 4 walls Lord Lord people say yes, he is who he says he is. The problem is that they are worshiping a god of their own making. He looks like, acts like, and requires everything they want him to be. He’s not the God of the Bible they are following because Christ Himself tells the Lord Lord people He doesn’t know them. They can say what they want about knowing Him, but He says He doesn’t know them. That’s why the Lord Lord people can, and will, run their church just the way they want. They are running it just the way christ wants, with his blessings on everything they do, because they are following the christ of their own making. There is no Power in anything they do, they settle for some warm fuzzies they try to pass off as the Holy Spirit, and sometimes even the pastor gives them what they want to hear because he doesn’t want to rock their boat. They are a self-dillusioned people who, with all sincerity, will tell you they love the lord. They just can’t describe the God of the Bible because they just don’t know the God of the Bible. Jesus Himself says so. So the real problem is, the Christians ARE following the God of the Bible, Growing in Holiness, Righteousness, and Purity, and the Lord Lord people will also tell you in their self-delusion, they are also following the lord. Who’s who? You will know them by their Fruits. Follow Christ, and, Be Blessed.
