Daily Devotional. For the LORD giveth Wisdom: out of His Mouth cometh Knowledge and Understanding. Proverbs 2:6. Wisdom crieth without; She uttereth Her Voice in the streets: She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city She Uttereth Her Words, saying, How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate Knowledge? Turn you at My Reproof: behold, I will pour out My Spirit unto you, I will make known My Words unto you. BECAUSE I HAVE CALLED, and ye refused; I HAVE STRETCHED OUT MY HAND, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all My Counsel, and would none of My Reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; Proverbs 1:20-26. This may be the “nuts and bolts” of one Way the Lord uses to instill a lost person’s need to come to Christ. The “need for Christ” all comes from the Lord so whether you call it the Holy Spirit or Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding, it still all comes from the Lord. The messenger of Who and How is nowhere as important as THE MESSAGE. People argue today about, “Was it said in love, or not”. That’s irrelevant, the real question is, What is said? Jonah had to Preach about coming destruction to a very evil people whom he hated with a passion. He eventually did what he was told to do, but he had NO LOVE for the people he was Preaching to. AND THEY ALL REPENTED OF THEIR VILE SINS, and disaster was averted for 40 years. Any Message given by man from the Holy Spirit will have all the Power and Authority of the Holy Spirit in it. More than enough to “get the job done”. At times, man’s attitude is irrelevant, the Holy Spirit will use a donkey if He needs to. Preach Christ with all the Love you want, but with Love, or not, His Word will get through and have results. No one gets to Hear about Christ and have no effect. His Word will hit Home, no matter how much the hearer may deny it. THEY ALREADY KNOW THE TRUTH about how to, Be Blessed.
