Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 4926

Daily Devotional. He that hath pity upon the poor LENDETH UNTO THE LORD; and that which he hath given WILL HE PAY HIM AGAIN. Proverbs 19:17. If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink: For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, AND THE LORD SHALL REWARD THEE. Proverbs 25:21-22. “If thine Telemarketer calleth thee attempting to scammeth thee of thine precious personal data, quickly hangeth up on them and don’t fall for their deceitful wayeth”. 1 ColloRomanThians 7:11. Here’s a thought, and only you can answer for yourself and only between you and the Lord. The only right or wrong answer is for you and Him to figure out. Whatever your answer is, Be Encouraged, today, there is room for improvement. This is a starting point and you can decide if improvements are needed. Here goes. On a scale of 1 to 100, if the Lord offers you today, and every day, 100 opportunities to Hear Him and do “something” in Obedience to what He Says, how many of those Opportunities do you want to answer and Do, YES? (Illustration), the Lord will have 100 times today for specific “things” He will Ask or Show you to do. It’s OK, as you go through your day to, for example, “YES, YES, YES, no Lord, I’ll not do that, Yes, no, no, Yes”, and at the end of your day you’ve accomplished 27 of the 100 things to “do”. Satan will try to condemn you and say “You’ve failed miserable, you’ve failed 73 times and are not worthy to call yourself a Christian”. On the other hand, the Lord will say “Thank you for the 27 times you did as I Asked, will you let Me help you to be even more Obedient tomorrow so you and even more people can Be Blessed”? He won’t Condemn you for your “failures” but He will Encourage you to ask Him to change your Heart to be even MORE Obedient. None of us get it ALL Right, but we can Ask the Lord to break any FEAR of man and what MAN might say or do each time He Presents us with another “something” He is Requesting. Say yes and you will, Be Blessed.
