Daily Devotional. He that hath pity upon the poor LENDETH UNTO THE LORD; and that which he hath given WILL HE PAY HIM AGAIN. Proverbs 19:17. If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink: For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, AND THE LORD SHALL REWARD THEE. Proverbs 25:21-22. “If thine Telemarketer calleth thee attempting to scammeth thee of thine precious personal data, quickly hangeth up on them and don’t fall for their deceitful wayeth”. 1 Colloromanthians 7:11. (Personal Testimony here). This “Preach” is the wording I like to use when a telemarketer calls me. You have to “play the game” and get past the computer program to where a real person comes on the line to help you get all your “benefits” you are due. This is where they want your personal information so I say, Give it, tell them about Christ. You may have 2 or 3 seconds before they hang up, but that’s still 2 or 3, OR MORE seconds you have. Here’s what I use. “Hey (name if they tell you), is Jesus Christ your personal Lord and Saviour as He needs to be and should be, because only He can forgive you of your sins. Muhammad and Allah can’t because they’re dead and worthless. You need Christ brother, (sister), anybody ever loved you enough to tell you the Truth”? Usually by now they hang up, but once in a while they’ll talk, or argue, and I’ll keep talking about the Lord anyway. Rarely a real conversation ensues, but it does happen. The point is, GIVE THEM GOSPEL AS COMPACT AS YOU CAN, you’re planting Seeds, and Trust the Holy Spirit to do all the rest. He WILL bring to Christ ALL who will call out. Remember, you’re not trying to build trust or rapport with them, time’s too short. JUST GIVE THEM GOSPEL, and let the Lord work it out. So far, my “biggest day” was 92 spam calls and I spoke to 20 or more. FIRST, LIVE YOUR LIFE IN CHRIST, and if your phone rings, and you have a couple minutes, answer, and Preach Christ.
