Daily Devotional. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, COME OUT OF HER, MY PEOPLE, THAT YE BE NOT PARTAKERS OF HER SINS, AND THAT YE RECEIVE NOT OF HER PLAGUES. Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her. And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth. Revelation 18:2, 4, 8, 20-21, 24. This appears near the very end of the Book of Revelation, near the end of this earth as we now know it. Who, what, and where this is talking about is still up for Great Discussion. Some say New York City, some say it’s the actual city of Rome, sitting on the 7 Hills, some say it’s the Catholic Church killing the Christians. You’ll have to decide for yourself. The point here is that it’s late in the Book of the Revelation Time-line AND THE CHRISTIANS ARE BEING CALLED OUT BEFORE DEATH AND DESTRUCTION START. Almost like Sodom and Gomorrah all over again. This is also a call throughout all of time on this earth calling people to come out of the Worldly system. However this will be and work out, TODAY, YOU CHRISTIAN, examine yourself and leave your worldliness and its lusts behind you as you run as fast as you can into Christ, and His Holiness. Today is the day to stop playing games with God and the world. Choose you this day whom you will Serve AND SERVE HIM. Get off the fence, and Follow Christ, that you may, Be Blessed.
