Daily Devotional. Blessed are they that DO HIS COMMANDMENTS, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. FOR WITHOUT ARE DOGS, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. Revelation 22:14-15. When a Believer talks to another person, saved or unsaved, how do you know what to say? The Bible is burning in your bones waiting to be Presented to anyone who will listen. You see the Holiness of the Word and need to apply it to the world. (A person living in the world). Sometimes when talking to someone it seems to be like fighting off an angry bull elephant with a fly swatter. At other times it seems to be using a 12 gauge shot gun to kill a fly. So how do you know where that Perfect Balance is to Be Obedient to Be Victorious without crushing the hearer, or serving up milk toast? The only answer I know is to fall into the hands of a Holy and Just God, to listen for that Still Small Voice, and to Obey all that we understand. What do you want out of a human, Perfection? That isn’t going to happen. Preachers, Teachers, and Joe Sheepers will do the best they can with what they understand of the Lord, and that’s all they can do. Critics will cry out, Too much, Too little, Bad attitude, Not enough Love, Too harsh, Too dry, Too whatever…. Critics in the world will never be satisfied. But a Brother will come alongside and Encourage you in the Lord. Here’s my point, keep Preaching, Teaching, Talking the Word, Be about the Father’s Business as best you understand, keep Seeking Christ and all He has to say, and, Be Blessed.
