Righteousness: “Integrity, Virtue, Purity of Life, Rightness, Correctness of thinking feeling, and acting”. This is only part of the definition. Here’s the point, the Righteousness of God is made more and more clear to Saved man as Saved man grows in Faith, Understanding and Obedience to the Things of the Lord. His Righteousness is not only Revealed TO you, but THROUGH you to a lost world looking for Something better than what the world has to offer. The GOoD News is, you will have no idea as to “how much” Righteousness you have in you. It’s not something you can “track” and watch Grow in yourself. Yes, you will “feel” more solidly Anchored in and through Christ, like building a brick wall, you will feel, or sense, the wall is growing in size and depth, but you won’t really be able to explain Righteousness in you, to others, you just Know that the Lord is with you. Like running in a timed obstacle course race where you’re only running to “beat the clock”, you’ll Know your getting closer to the finish line, but you’ll not know how your “time” compares to others until after you finish the race. This is one way the Lord designed Righteousness, to make it hard for pride to try to sneak in. But others will see Righteousness Growing in you, and through you “spilling” out into the world as you Love the lost and share Christ with them. His Righteousness will manifest itself by your Faith, Obedience and Perseverance growing in and through you. That “Fire in your bones” will move you to even more Faith, Obedience and Perseverance, AS YOUR FEAR OF DEATH, MAN AND SATAN FALLS BY THE WAY SIDE. It’s like a snowball, the more you roll it the more it grows, and the more you’ll, Be Blessed.
