Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 4281

Daily Devotional. Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing. But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus. Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No. And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes. And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes. Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught. Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: AND FOR ALL THERE WERE SO MANY, YET WAS NOT THE NET BROKEN. Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord. John 21:3-6,8,10-12. A True fish story maybe you’ve never heard? When man wants to do something without Christ in it, it’s a dead work, it has no Life. But when Christ shows up, all of Nature itself comes to attention listening for even the slightest whisper from the Creator of the Universe. Christ directed man and fish to meet on the right side of the ship, and these fish, upon hearing the Masters Voice, fought to be first into the net to gladly sacrifice their lives in service to the Master. What a privilege to Serve the Master, even to the end of Life. These fish had no concern for their own lives as they gladly gave their lives in Service to the Master. They Knew that even through death, they would still be Serving and Honouring their Creator in His Will and Purposes. Think maybe we can learn something from this little fish story? Psalm 148:5. Let them praise the name of the Lord: for He Commanded, and they were created. To Serve and, Be Blessed.
