Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 4234

Daily Devotional. And it came to pass, that when he, (the Master over his servants), was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading. Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds. And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities. Luke 19:15-17. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. FOR UNTO WHOMSOEVER MUCH IS GIVEN, OF HIM SHALL BE MUCH REQUIRED: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. Luke 12:48. Here’s a thought that should make us tremble in our boots. You and I came from absolutely nothing, became a thought in God’s Mind, He built us, gave us His Life in our dusty clay bodies, and put us here on this earth at the Greatest Time in Biblical History, at possibly the end (?) of all things, to maybe even see Christ step down on the Mount of Olives, to (A), use everything we have on ourselves, or (B), be absolutely all about the Father’s Business and all that He has for us, (you and me), to do? Is your response, “OH GOD, WHAT HAVE I DONE”, or, (yawn,) “Everything I have I worked hard for and I deserve it all, and yes, I do put something in the offering plate, sometimes….” Oh Lord, save us from ourselves, give us more Heart for Christ and the lost. Help us focus our eyes on You and not the Things of this world. Forgive us of our sins as You Grow us in Holiness, Righteousness, Purity, Faith, Obedience and Perseverance, we, (I) ask all these things in Jesus Holy Name, Amen and Amen. And while you, (and I) are at it, ask the Lord for a Heaping Helping of that Most Biblical Thing called the Holy and Reverent “Fear of God”. That will most definitely help keep us on that Narrow Path to and into the Lord Jesus Christ. Wow, what a Way to Eternally, Be Blessed.
