Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 4232

Daily Devotional. And it came to pass, that when he, (the Master over his servants), was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading. Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds. And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities. Luke 19:15-17. The Biblical Principle here is that hard work and faithfulness to the job will gain you job prosperity and great recognition. (Please read carefully). WORLDLY faithfulness will get you great worldly recognition, for a time, and then, in a fleeting moment, it’s all gone. GODLY Faithfulness and Obedience will gain you Great Godly Recognition for ALL of Eternity. Even man will notice when you do Great Good for the Lord. THEY MIGHT KILL YOU FOR IT, but they’ll see your GOoD Works and respond as they see fit. A worldly “killer for hire”, (think of Saul, later called Paul), was very good at trying to “kill” the fledgling Christian Church. He was well known by the heathen world and feared by the Christian world. After, “But God” he was greatly feared by the heathen world and greatly “praised” by the Godly world. Worldly praise is short and fleeting. Godly Praise is for ever. Faithful Obedience, (faithful obedience), does have its Rewards (rewards), whether Long, or short, be faithful, and you will be recognized. In the world, YOUR name will go forth. In the Church, CHRIST’S Name will be lifted up and ALL will see. In the world, you’ll be a bright flash, and gone. In Christ, you’ll be a light Everlasting. DO SOMETHING, make your mark and reap your reward, be very good at what you do and (either way) the Lord God Almighty WILL notice and reward you openly. Believers, make your worldly life count towards Heavenly, Long Lasting Rewards towards and for, Christ. GIVE HIM YOUR BEST, and you WILL, Be Blessed.
