Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 4231

Daily Devotional. He (Jesus) said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, (one pound to each servant), and said unto them, Occupy till I come. And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading. Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds. And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: BECAUSE THOU HAST BEEN FAITHFUL IN A VERY LITTLE, HAVE THOU AUTHORITY OVER TEN CITIES . Luke 19:12-13,15-17. To varying degrees this concept of Exponential Increase is very much alive and well in businesses around the world. If you come in off the street looking for a job, they’ll start you off with a simple job anyone could do to see how you handle it and yourself. If you do well with work and attitude they move you on to the next level of more work with more responsibilities. It takes time to “move up the ladder”, and that moving could land you at the very top job of running, or even owning, the company. Somebody has to be the top (wo)man at the company, why not someone very qualified for the job? Under normal conditions, qualified people would find their way up the corporate ladder to their best position in the company. Aahhh but these days, where what’s right is becoming wrong and what was once wrong is becoming the new right, many very unqualified people are finding their way into very high positions in business and government, and some have no idea what they’re doing. This unqualified exponential increase is exactly what happens when the Lord and His Keeping Power are pushed out of a place of work and man says, “I’ll do this MY way, we don’t need God here anymore”. Under these terms, things will ultimately fall apart. This is also called “Judgment”, and it will not, Be Blessed.
