Daily Devotional. WHO CHANGED THE TRUTH OF GOD INTO A LIE, Romans 1:25. And even as THEY DID NOT LIKE TO RETAIN GOD IN THEIR KNOWLEDGE, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: WHO KNOWING THE JUDGMENT OF GOD, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, BUT HAVE PLEASURE IN THEM THAT DO THEM. Romans 1:28-32. This is talking about the (American) church generally across the land. We have grown soft on sin and lazy about calling it out. We fear man way more than we fear God. Generally speaking, there is no Fear Of God in the church anymore. If we don’t call out sin in our own PERSONAL life first, we certainly won’t call it out in church. IF WE WON’T JUDGE OURSELVES IN THE CHURCH, THE LORD WILL, AND IT WON’T BE PRETTY. “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God”? 1 Peter 4:17. “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much”. Luke 16:10. Question, do you PERSONALLY, in your Prayer Closet, ask the Lord to do whatever it takes to draw you unto Christ and into CHRISTLIKENESS? You know, into Holiness, Righteousness, Purity and Patience? Do you “practice” listening for and being obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit? Do you ask Him to direct your steps throughout your day? Do you ask Christ to “Love” through you, even to those who despitefully use you or try to hurt you? Do you teach your children the Word of the Lord? Will you Judge you, Grow in Christ, and, Be Blessed?
