Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 4021

Daily Devotional. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth. 2 Timothy 2:15. But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. And above all things have fervent Charity (Love) among yourselves: for Charity shall cover the multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:7-8. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. Matthew 24:42.  The Bible tell us to Prepare for the Return of Christ, so the question comes up, to what degree are YOU preparing for Christ’s Return? Are you ONLY looking for Him to return in the clouds to snatch you up to Heaven as an instantaneous “be like Christ” poof, and it’s all done, as you today STILL enjoy all the “benefits” of just calling yourself a “christian” while still fully and completely enjoying life in this world? Or are you so enamored with Christ and all He has done for you that TODAY you are looking for every possible way to shed off all the “things” offered by this world, and taking on all the Eternal Things offered by Christ to Prepare you for His Return AND to Live with and for Him, TODAY? Are you waiting for Christ to fully change you from fully “worldliness” to fully CHRISTLIKENESS, ALL IN ONE INSTANT? Or are you asking the Holy Spirit to lead you step by step out of worldliness today, and into CHRISTLIKENESS today as an ongoing continuous change to be found Pleasing to the Lord? Are YOU Preparing for Christ every day? Or just expecting Him to change you all at one time, “in the twinkling of an eye”? Warning, if you’re not faithfully seeking the little “changes” day by day in Christ, YOU’RE NOT LOOKING FOR HIS RETURN SOMETIME, “DOWN THE ROAD, ” ALL AT ONE TIME EITHER. Don’t fool yourself, Christ is talking to you TODAY. If you don’t Hear Him Today, you won’t Hear Him Tomorrow, at the end of all things. TODAY, is the day of Salvation, tomorrow may never come. Don’t trust in “getting right” tomorrow. Seek Christ TODAY, and, Be Blessed.
