Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 4018

Daily Devotional. Whosoever therefore shall CONFESS ME before men, him WILL I CONFESS ALSO before My Father which is in Heaven. But whosoever shall DENY ME before men, HIM WILL I ALSO DENY before My Father which is in Heaven. Matthew 10:32-33. Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after Me, LET HIM DENY HIMSELF, and take up his Cross, AND FOLLOW ME. Matthew 16:24. He (Jesus) must increase, but I (John) must decrease. John 3:30. Now, a little more on the lighter side of life. We all started off as depraved sinners on our way to Hell, yet somehow the Lord got a hold of us and stopped that forward desire of depravity with Repentance unto Salvation. From this point on there is a great learning curve from utter disobedience unto Faithful Boldness full of Obedience. As we Grow in Christ the new dividing line is WILLFUL disobedience with a Heart slowly turning FROM the Lord, (like Judas Iscariot who LOOKED the part as a Believer), and a person making a poor choice with a momentary, “He sure isn’t looking much like a Christian these days”, actual Follower of Christ. Many times, we can’t tell the difference, and that’s just it, IT’S NOT UP TO US TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE OF IF THEY’RE SAVED OR NOT. Only the Lord truly knows that difference. Sure, you may even consider yourself a “fruit inspector” but all that should do is give you a license to decide to put someone on the Prayer List. Who would have thought the murderer Saul would turn out to be a Strong Believer named Paul the Apostle? Many are “obviously” Saved, many are “sure looking like” they’re Saved”, and many are “obviously” not Saved. How many people do you put in each “category”? Even in the coming hard and dark days, some “Believers” will turn in True Believers to try to save their own skin. With Fellowship and Discernment, the Lord can show you who you can trust, but other times it’s “Pray for them, they’re having a really hard time right now”. Like a serial “Saver”, tell them ALL, about Christ, and, Be Blessed.
