Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 4013

Daily Devotional. Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: YET I WILL REJOICE IN THE LORD, I WILL JOY IN THE GOD OF MY SALVATION. The Lord God is my Strength, and He will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and He will make me to walk upon mine high places… Habakkuk 3:17-19. Back in the day, if you had trees, vines and herds you were considered a rich man. The Prophet Habakkuk is saying that if all these things were taken away, if you have no resources, no abilities available to you, but you have the Lord, YOU HAVE EVERYTHING you need to VICTORIOUSLY move through this life and on into the next. Yes, it’s GOoD to provide for your family their daily needs and to thank the Lord for all He has given you. We work by the sweat of our brow to take care of our families. But if a day or time comes when you have absolutely nothing, it’s all gone, not even a scrap or crumb left, it doesn’t matter, IF YOU HAVE THE LORD. The Lord built it all, and He owns it all, so whatever He gives to you is His Provision for you. Whether He gives you a lot, or a little, it will ALWAYS be just the right amount to take care of the need. Do you have a Heart Attitude that fully, totally and completely Thanks the Lord for ALL THINGS, whether it’s “feast or famine”? The Lord will use anything and everything to show you what your real Heart Attitude is and if it needs some “adjusting” or not. Do you worry about your stuff? If He gives you more, will you Thank Him? If He takes it all away, will you equally Thank Him? If not, what does He need to do to get you to that point of Thanking Him IN ALL THINGS? “Stuff” comes and goes, Christ is forever. What are your eyes and Heart focused on? Will you ask the Lord to use anything and everything in your life today TO DRAW YOU INTO THE FULLNESS OF CHRISTLIKENESS, that you may, Be Blessed?
