Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 4010

Daily Devotional. Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, WHEN I HAVE PREACHED TO OTHERS, I MYSELF SHOULD BE A CASTAWAY. 1 Corinthians 9:24-27. Anybody can Proclaim the Gospel without ANY feelings of guilt or shame. For example, some nighttime TV comedian perfectly quotes John 3:16 in all sincerity, (that’s good) but the lines before and after that verse are said with pure sarcasm. That verse WAS PREACHED, and that Word was heard by millions watching TV. What the Holy Spirit does with Those Words in each individual Heart is up to Him. When the Words of John 3:16 are spoken (exactly as written in the Bible), THAT’S THE GOSPEL BEING PREACHED NO MATTER WHAT THE PREACHERS ATTITUDE IS. Whether serious or sarcastic, The Word will stand on its own 2 feet very nicely, thank you very much. Jonah was one angry Preacher when he Preached what the Lord told him to Preach to the people of Nineveh. He KNEW the Lord would save them, and they didn’t deserve any of it, as far as he was concerned. He wished them all to die and go to Hell. God saved them anyway. Today, many TV preachers don’t know the Lord, but the Word they Preach does Save many. These preachers may very well end up in Hell for not being Saved through Christ. BUT HIS WORD SAVES and that’s what’s important. Many dying men have Preached the Word, with absolutely no impact to their own life. So sad, to Preach Christ, and still go to Hell. Many Preachers, like Judas Iscariot, only Preach for the money and never Preach Christ because of their love FOR Him. Believers, Preach Christ, Love Christ, Lift Up Christ and let the Holy Spirit minister to them, and they, Be Blessed.
