Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 3894

Daily Devotional. Who then is a Faithful and Wise servant, whom his Lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his Lord when He cometh shall find so doing. Verily I say unto you, That He shall make him ruler over ALL His goods. Matthew 24:45-47. All those false “Prosperity Gospel” preachers would have you believe that IF YOU HAVE FAITH, the Lord will give you the car, house, job, family and bank account you so richly deserve. They hold themselves up as shining examples of what “the true christian life” should look like. On the other hand, Christ had nowhere (He called home) to lay His Head at night. This is a total contradiction to the “Prosperity Gospel”. Here’s the point. You can go for “The American Dream” which is bigger and better than our parents had, or can we be content in whatsoever state we’re in and ask the Lord to guide us into all that HE has in store for us. (Please read carefully). If you do have a nice house and car, great, but if the Lord sees fit to have you in “much less and barely getting by”, you need to still be a Good Steward over all that you do have. This isn’t about who dies with the most toys, wins, no, this is about each one of us being the best Steward we can be with ALL that the Lord gives us. Whether you have 1 talent, 2 talents or 5 talents, IT’S NOT ABOUT THE NUMBER OF TALENTS YOU HAVE, IT’S WHAT YOU DO WITH THEM TO BLESS AND BUILD HIS KINGDOM IN PEOPLE’S LIVES. Whether lots, or little, if it’s all in His Hands, IT’S ENOUGH. Love the Lord, and Love your neighbor, get that part right and everything else will fall into place, perfectly. If Christ is your “Supply”, you’ll have all that you need to do everything He has for you to do it with. Don’t waste time counting up all your stuff, count Christ Worthy to give you all that HE wants you to have. When He does that, you’ll have the Peace, Joy and Contentment of all that it takes to be fully satisfied WITH HIS PROVISION and to, Be Blessed.
