Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 3891

Daily Devotional. Who then is a Faithful and Wise Servant, whom his Lord hath made ruler over His Household, to give them meat in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his Lord when He cometh shall find so doing. Verily I say unto you, That He shall make him ruler over all His Goods. But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My Lord delayeth His Coming; And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; The Lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for Him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 24:45-51. Let’s expand one way to understand this Concept here into today’s “English”. You have been given the Great Gift of Life. The Lord Created you and you have been given certain “things” with this Life that will show you if you have a Heart FOR the Lord, OR NOT. You have some food, some shelter, some means of transportation, and some money. It’s your choice to say, “Thank you Lord”, or to say, “Haven’t I done well to be a self-made man”, without the Lord. So here you are with Life, and stuff, and suddenly you come Face to face with the Master of the House and He asks you to give to Him your account of all that you’ve done with your Life, and Stuff He’s allowed you to use. Are you to be found just a freeloader using your stuff and people JUST FOR YOUR BENEFIT? Or did you Thank the Master of the House and ask Him what and how He wanted you to take Care of HIS STUFF, with you as His steward??? Be very careful here, the Master of the House coming back could be the Day you meet the Lord in the air, (as Christ coming back for His Bride), or if you suddenly died today and find yourself standing before the Great White Throne Judgment. Either way, it will be Sudden. Are you ready THIS VERY MINUTE TO GIVE SUCH AN ACCOUNT OF YOUR LIFE in His House with His Stuff? Will you Rejoice and Forever, Be Blessed?
