Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 3879

Daily Devotional. But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, EVEN DENYING THE LORD THAT BOUGHT THEM, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 Peter 2:1. Whosoever therefore shall confess Me before men, him will I confess also before My Father which is in heaven. But WHOSOEVER SHALL DENY ME before men, him WILL I ALSO DENY before my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 10:32-33. But (Peter) spake the more vehemently, If I should die with Thee, I will not deny Thee in any wise. LIKEWISE ALSO SAID they ALL (the disciples). Mark 14:31. If Christ’s first 12 original disciples all denied Him as Lord and Saviour, what chance do the rest of us have of ever coming to Christ??? All but 1 of those 12 saw the error of their ways, repented of their sins, and came to Christ AS THEIR LORD AND SAVIOUR. Judas Iscariot, (disciple number 12), saw the error of his ways AND GAVE UP, he killed himself believing Christ could not help him. The lost of this world don’t care and have bought into the lie that Christ can’t help them because they are too far gone. The religious of this world are looking for a saviour that can save them in a way and manner suitable TO THEM. THEY know how THEY want to be saved and are looking for someone to tell them THEY are right in the way THEY want to go. THEIR way leads straight to Hell. Only those who have a Heart for Christ will find Him as their Lord and Saviour, and will Follow Him Who is their Everything as they recognize they have nothing to offer Him. HE, paid the Price for their Salvation, as they just Rest in Christ and HIS Finished Work to Save them.  “Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the Faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the Faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified”. Galatians 2:16. Now, Be Blessed.
