Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 3805

Daily Devotional. Then shall the Kingdom of Heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, AND TOOK NO OIL with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. Matthew 25:1-8. (The following is ONLY AN ILLUSTRATION to make a point). Most bridegrooms usually call for the virgins to come celebrate by 10 pm and no later. They can come anytime they want, but usually no later than 10. The five foolish virgins, believing this tradition to be fact, brought enough oil to last to 10:15, because it would save them the extra expense of buying unnecessary oil. The five wise virgins knew it could take all night before the call came, and they were ready, even if it took all night. Here’s my point. All Believers know Christ IS coming back for His Bride and are all told to be ready and waiting, even if it takes all night. TRADITION says He’ll be here fairly soon. (The Rapture theology teaches this). The Bible says no one knows. We ALL need to study, prepare, and have plenty of oil for ALL night, if necessary. (Enough Knowledge, Wisdom, Understanding and Obedience to POSSIBLY go through all the Tribulation). Maybe Christ will come at the end of all things. Maybe at the beginning. IT DOESN’T MATTER, just Know, and be Ready for WHENEVER it is. Be prepared for the the long haul, and pray for His soon return. No one in the Bible has ever been accused of having too much Oil. Have your vessel Full of the Holy Spirit, His Peace and Joy with Contentment, Knowing His Still Small Voice, Walking in total Obedience, that whenever Christ DOES come, you WILL, Be Blessed.
