Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 3739

Daily Devotional. Also, (Ezekiel) thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, AND HEAR WHAT IS THE WORD THAT COMETH FORTH FROM THE LORD.  And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee AS MY PEOPLE, and they hear thy words, BUT THEY WILL NOT DO THEM: for with their mouth they shew much love, but THEIR HEART GOETH AFTER THEIR COVETOUSNESS. And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: FOR THEY HEAR THY WORDS, BUT THEY DO THEM NOT. And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them. Ezekiel 33:30-33. There are two types of people who “go to church”. Those with a Heart FOR the Lord, and those with a Heart AGAINST the Lord. Those For the Lord are the Sheep, whether already Saved, or WILL be Saved in the future, ALL His sheep Desire to Hear from the Lord, Follow the Lord wherever He leads, AND OBEY HIM IN HIS LEADERSHIP, no matter who Preaches, Teaches, Talks or Fellowships in the Lord. They SEEK Christ, with a Heart to Obey. On the other hand, the above-mentioned Goats also love to go to church to hear a Man of God Preaching a GOoD word to them. THEY know that the GOoD Word being Preached is for everyone else sitting around them and Is not for them, as they sit there covered in their own Self-Righteousness. By their own choice to live in their own self-righteousness haughtiness and arrogance, THEY WILL NEVER BE “SAVED”. (No goat has ever changed into a sheep, and no sheep has ever changed into a goat). It’s ALL about your Heart Attitude towards, or against, the Lord. The Lord (and not man) Knows all Hearts and will deal with each one accordingly. Don’t get excited with “church growth” but DO get excited with “Growing in Christ”. Follow, AND OBEY Christ, and you WILL, Be Blessed.
