Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 3733

Daily Devotional. Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a Cloud of Witnesses, (all of Heaven is cheering you on in your “race” to be as CHRISTLIKE as you can be), let us lay aside every weight, (and concern for things of this world), and the sin which doth so easily beset us, (you know, that one particular sin that Satan uses to push your buttons that seems to be insurmountable for you), and let us Run with Patience (accepting every Thing the Lord allows to come through the Throne Room for each one of us TODAY, with no worries or concern for tomorrow), the Race that is set before us, (a Race custom designed for each and every single Believer on Planet Earth), Looking unto Jesus, (our Master and Keeper, Himself cheering each one of us on to the Finish Line), the Author and Finisher of our Faith; Who for the Joy that was set before Him, (Who ran the same Race as each one of us), Endured the Cross, (not just to barely tolerate it, but to run Joyfully and Expectantly INTO AND THROUGH the Cross), despising the shame, (not even thinking twice of the emotions of His flesh), and is set down at the Right Hand of the Throne of God, (as His Great and Final Reward, His “return on His Investment”).  And ye have forgotten the Exhortation which speaketh unto you, (don’t forget ALL His Promises and Instructions on how you are to personally run your Race), as unto children, (He will remind us of all these things as often as we need so we don’t lose focus on The Prize). My son, DESPISE NOT thou the Chastening of the Lord, (like a Doctor doing surgery, it hurts for a moment, with Great Joy soon after), nor faint when thou art Rebuked of Him, (hang in there, it WILL be ALL worth what “little” pain and suffering you feel now): Now no Chastening for the present seemeth to be  Joyous, but Grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the Peaceable Fruit of Righteousness (VICTORIOUS UNTO CHRISTLIKENESS), unto them which are Exercised thereby. Hebrews 12:1-2,5,11.  For you to, Be Blessed.
