Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 3687

Daily Devotional. Beloved, think it not strange concerning the Fiery Trial which is to try YOU, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s Sufferings; that, when His Glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with Exceeding Joy if ye be reproached for the Name of Christ, happy are ye; for the Spirit of Glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part He is evil spoken of, but on your part He is glorified. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters. Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, LET HIM NOT BE ASHAMED; but let him Glorify God on this behalf. 1 Peter 4:12-16. While Christ was walking on this earth, evil and wicked men repulsed, reviled and rejected Christ because His Deeds were GOoD, and theirs were not. THEY Judged Christ as a reprobate, an outsider, a trouble causer because He would not go along with their evil ways. “Birds of a feather flock together” and Christ would have none of their evil ways. Instead, He actually called them out for their dark deeds and exposed them to the Light of Salvation, and they would have none of His Rebuke. In their fierce anger and rejection of Christ and all that He stood for, they killed Him. For 2000 years the world still Rejects Christ and all who claim to belong to Christ as they shine the Light of Christ on their dark and evil ways. Believers, Followers of Christ, don’t be at all surprised when they come after you because you also shine His Light on their sins. Remember, even if you consider yourself a “quiet” Christian, you ARE in Christ, He IS in you, and the Holy Spirit spills out of you everywhere you go. YOU’RE A WALKING LIT UP BILLBOARD PROCLAIMING CHRIST WITH EVERY FOOTSTEP YOU TAKE. So finish jumping in with both feet into this Life With Christ because if you’re going to be a marked man for Following Christ, MAKE IT WORTH YOUR TIME TO BE BUFFETED, OR EVEN KILLED FOR CHRIST, and you WILL, Be Blessed.
