Daily Devotional. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of Obedience unto Righteousness? But God be thanked, that ye WERE the servants of sin, but YE HAVE OBEYED from the Heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the Servants of Righteousness. Romans 6:16-18. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the Knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought TO THE OBEDIENCE OF CHRIST; And having in a readiness to revenge (against) all disobedience, WHEN YOUR OBEDIENCE IS FULFILLED. 2 Corinthians 10:5-6. Today, we have the Word Of God, called the Bible, as our guide to Living a New Life of Obedience unto Christ, as we leave, and depart from, that old life of disobedience. The Law, which is that Godly DNA saturated into and throughout every man’s heart, will let every single man, woman and child know that something in this Life isn’t right, and that Obedience to Christ unto Salvation is the ONLY Thing that will quell the Call to “Get Right” with Christ. The Law shows sin and guilt, and only Obedience unto Christ can bring Peace and Joy. Don’t be fooled, the “amount” of Obedience you have to Christ and His Word today is EXACTLY the same amount of Obedience you would have towards Christ if you even stood physically next to Him 2000 years ago. Back then, and today, that same Holy Spirit brings Conviction of sin, and Knowledge with Understanding of Salvation to every man, woman and child to ever walk this earth. On Judgment Day, NO MAN shall have ANY excuse for Rejecting Christ and His Offer of Salvation, NO ONE. Only by following the Leading of the Holy Spirit can one be Saved. Christ Paid It All, you can do NOTHING to contribute to His Salvation for you. Obedience is all He requires, and the Holy Spirit will help you with even that. It’s easier to Obey Christ unto Salvation, Be forgiven, and, Be Blessed.
