Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 3632

Daily Devotional. NOW THEREFORE FEAR THE LORD, AND SERVE HIM IN SINCERITY AND IN TRUTH: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and SERVE YE THE LORD. And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye WILL serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: BUT AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE, WE WILL SERVE THE LORD. Joshua 24: 14-15. So, the question is raised, if I follow the Lord in absolute Obedience to everything He says to do and say, will I be kept safe from all harm? Yes, and no. Yes, you’ll be kept Safe from falling away from your FAITH in the Lord, your Salvation is ABSOLUTELY Assured in and through Christ both here on this earth, and for all of Eternity with Him. And the No part of the answer means you may, or may not have an “easy” life with very little suffering. You may have a Life full of trials, troubles, testing’s and tribulations. Job had a very prosperous seemingly “easy” life with just one short time off severe testing, then great Blessings again. The Apostle Paul lived a Christian Life FULL of hardships at every turn, once he turned to Christ. Stephen, a young new Deacon in the church Preached his best Sermon ever, and they immediately took him out and killed him. The Apostle John Preached, and they COULDN’T kill him. So they banished him to a tiny desolate island to suffer out his last days, AND THE LORD BLESSED HIM WITH WRITING THE BOOK OF REVELATION. Believer, your Life and EVERYTHING about it is Fully and Totally in the Hands of the Lord. Satan can’t touch you, EXCEPT THE LORD ALLOW IT. Satan has been utterly, fully and completely DEFEATED by the Lord Jesus Christ, and Satan can’t touch you except the Lord allows it. Remember, whatever He allows into your Life today, IS FOR YOUR GOOD AND YOUR GROWTH IN CHRIST. Therefore, NO FEAR OF SATAN AND HIS MINIONS. Reverently Fear the Lord, and, Be Blessed.
