Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 3553

Daily Devotional. The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die. Genesis 6:11 -13,17. Except for Righteous Noah and his family, mankind became corrupted beyond redemption. Man, BY CHOICE, became “unsavable”, they no longer listened to Noah and turned their backs on God. Only sinners who purposely Rejected the Lord died in the flood. All the rest were saved. Keep in mind, those Saved were kept, (protected), from the death and destruction going on all around them by the Hand of the Lord. He actually used the means of death, (water), as the means of keeping Noah safe from the death and destruction going on just outside the door. “Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, That which thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria I have heard. For I will defend this city, to save it, for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake. And it came to pass that night, that the angel of the Lord went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand: (185,000) and when they arose early in the morning, behold, THEY WERE ALL DEAD CORPSES”. 2 Kings 19:20,34-35. The bad guys, the Assyrians, tried to starve out God’s people by surrounding the city. The Lord took care of His People with just the wall of the city separating the Just from the Death and Destruction of the Wicked. These are examples of the Keeping Power of the Lord to take care of His People, no matter what is going on around them. Will you, Be Blessed?
