Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 3540

Daily Devotional. Again the word of the Lord came unto (Ezekiel), saying, Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their Watchman: If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a Watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me. Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. Ezekiel 33:1-3,7,9. Watchman: “To look out or about, spy, keep watch, observe, watch”. Dads, are you not a Watchman over your family? Moms, are you not a Watchman over your children? Is not a Watchman also a person who the Lord has asked to keep a sharp eye out for the enemy? One who looks for deception, lies, wrong theologies and full-blown attacks against the Lord and His People? In general, a Watchman has a Heart for the Lord, and for people, all people, Saved and unsaved. They warn of impending disaster and Judgment against, ANYONE. Yes, Ezekiel was called by the Lord as a “National” Watchman to warn ALL the Jews with the Word of the Lord of soon coming dangers. Quite possibly David Wilkerson was a man called by the Lord to warn America of the Coming Judgment. As for the local level, that’s you and me, called to warn any and all in our small circle of friends, family and neighbors of AT LEAST the Judgment of God against a lost sinner on Judgment Day. If you care about people, and you Love The Lord, YOU’RE A WATCHMAN TO SOMEBODY. None of us will have an excuse not be a Watchman to the World, at the local level. Even to one person at a time. You are called to Watch for Christ and warn the Lost that He is coming back to Bless a People who Love Him, and warn those who don’t. WARN THEM, leave the Results in His Hands, and, Be Blessed.
