Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 3531

Daily Devotional. Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, AGAINST THE LORD, AND AGAINST HIS ANOINTED, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall He speak unto them in His Wrath, and vex them in His Sore Displeasure. Yet have I set My King (Christ) upon My Holy Hill of Zion. I will declare the Decree: the Lord hath said unto Me, Thou art My Son; this day have I begotten Thee. Ask of Me, and I shall give Thee the heathen for Thine Inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for Thy Possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; Thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings (of the earth): be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with Fear, and Rejoice with Trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and ye perish from The Way, when His Wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him. Psalm 2:1-12. Heart Issue here, do you legalistically “love” the Lord because He “requires” you to? Or do you Love the Lord because He Loves You and died in your place to take the Wrath of God Almighty against you, a sinner, upon Himself, that you could then Be Forgiven, Be a Follower of Christ, Be Accepted by The Father as being a part of The Son, and Live with and In The Son both now, AND FOREVER? Do you “love” the legalism of studying the words of Christ, like the scribes and pharisees, or do you just plain Love Christ because He first Loved you? Legalism gets you nowhere. LOVE, gets you everywhere. Which one are you? Do you love Christ by DOING for him, or do you Love Christ because of What He Did FOR YOU? He died for you, are you willing To Die for Him, if He were to ask you? To follow Christ on YOUR terms is cheap and easy. But to Follow Christ ON HIS TERMS, you WILL, Be Blessed.
