Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 3527

Daily Devotional. But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find Him, if thou seek Him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the Lord thy God, and shalt be Obedient unto His Voice; (For the Lord thy God is a merciful God;) He will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which He sware unto them. Deuteronomy 4:29- 31. Yes, I’m still working on the importance of Seeking The Lord for all your Growth. So here’s the question, from WHERE do you seek Him? The Bible, right? But which one? They all claim to be an improvement over the old King James Bible, easier to understand, and more accurate. I recently read the book, “Bible Version Secrets Exposed” by Jack McElroy, and here’s my short version description of comparing other bibles to the King James. You’re in your senior year of a VERY good 4 year Collage studying Molecular Science. It’s hard, but you’re getting good understanding as you study. Someone offers you an “easier to understand” version of your Senior Year Molecular Science Book. It’s a High School freshman year molecular science book much simpler to understand with much less detail than your Collage Book. It’s actually a “dumbed down” light duty version of your heavy duty Collage Book. It misses many important serious Thoughts and Deep Understandings for the sake of “easy to understand with very little study involved”. These “dumbed down easy read bibles” can’t even start to compare to the God Kept, Holy Spirit Enabled, Words of Christ. Different versions have different levels of “dumb down”. The King James Bible stands head and shoulders above ALL other versions. In your Bible, are you looking for ease, or are you looking for serious Meat and Potatoes Feasting at Christ’s Banqueting Table? How Serious are you in wanting to Know Christ in all His “Shades and Nuances”? How much do you want to, Be Blessed?
