Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 3521

Daily Devotional. We then, as Workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, NOW is the accepted time; behold, NOW is the day of salvation.) GIVING NO OFFENSE IN ANY THING, that the ministry be not blamed: But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings; By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the Armour of Righteousness on the right hand AND on the left, By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true; 2 Corinthians 6:1-8. FEAR of the unknown, FEAR of the future, FEAR of anything outside of my comfort zone, even to be afraid of, and not know why, is fast becoming the new “normalcy” in Life today. Think on this Concept for a moment. “I’m a Believer, I don’t believe in the devices of men to keep me safe, therefore, I’M NOT WEARING THE MASK”. OK, that may be your Faith, anchored solidly in Christ Himself, but how far will you be able to talk with the unsaved, being the only person on the street without a mask? Is it possible that we Believers will have to “wear the mask” just to fit in, to be able to talk to unbelievers about the Christ Who brings with Him Hope without Fear? We must be wise as serpents, and as harmless as doves. Will “wearing the mask” help you to gain entrance into conversation with the Fearful, where not “wearing the mask” will keep you away? This is a personal choice and conviction as to how you will represent Christ to a VERY fearful world. This is not a call to worldliness, but a call to even moment by moment Obedience, as the Holy Spirit directs your steps. Obey Him, that you AND they, may ultimately, Be Blessed.
