Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 3513

Daily Devotional. He that loveth his (physical) life shall lose it; and he that hateth (has no concern or worries about) his (physical) life in this world shall keep it (and it will change) unto Life Eternal. John 12:25. Question, what is the first and greatest Gift that God ever gave to man? Answer? No, it is not the Gift of Salvation through Jesus Christ, THAT is God’s second greatest Gift to man. The first is LIFE. The Gift of physical Life here on this earth. Without THAT Gift, you never were, you were never born, and you would have no need of Salvation. Without the Gift of Life, you were never, no essence, no being, no consciousness, nothing. BUT, now that you do have this Gift of physical Life from the Lord, here on this physical earth, now the second greatest Gift from God to man kicks in, your need for Salvation and Forgiveness for your sins. And that Gift runs very close to the first Gift of Life itself. After the first, you quickly need the second. Why bother saying all this? Because, if you’ll think about it, ponder it over in your mind and spirit, you’ll start to Understand just how Precious it is, from the Lord God Almighty, TO YOU. The Concept of Life, and the Instilment of it in you IS a most Precious Gift, one to seriously consider what you want to do with it. What are your plans, and what are God’s Plans, for you? Who has the final say-so over the Gift of Life in you? Is it as precious to you as it is to the Lord? Is this a time and an opportunity to spend the rest of your time with this Gift, Praising, Honouring, and Worshiping the Giver of this Gift? If this Gift of Life opens your eyes to how Great God Is, can you also see your need for His Gift of Salvation and Repentance for your sins against Him? Christ died for you in your place, that you could Live with Him in His Place. He Desires you to Desire Him, to freely Follow and Obey Him as He shows you how to Live a Holy Life in this unholy world. He’s calling you, that you may have BOTH Gifts, and, Be Blessed.
