Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 3480

Daily Devotional. For the Preaching of the Cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are Saved it is the Power Of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the Wisdom of God the world by (its) wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the (Godly) Foolishness of Preaching to save them that believe. For the Jews require a sign, (if I can’t see it, touch it or taste it, I won’t Believe), and the Greeks seek after wisdom (that they can understand): But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness, (remember, Preaching is the simplistic Foolishness of God Almighty); But unto them which are Called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ (is) the Power of God, and the Wisdom of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18-24. In this verse, Christ IS the physical manifestation of the Power and Wisdom of the Lord God Almighty Himself. This concept is just complicated enough to confuse and confound the “wise” of this world. And yet it’s simple enough to bring unto Salvation ALL who have the Desire to Fully Know The Truth. And that Truth is Jesus Christ, the only Begotten Son of the Living God Almighty. Worldly wisdom, or Godly Wisdom, it’s all out there for you to decide Whom and which, you are going to Follow. The world calls through the 5 senses with lots of glitz and glitter, noise and fanfare, trying to cover over death and destruction with its thin veneer of “worldly wisdom”. The Lord God Almighty calls with that Still Small Voice of the Holy Spirit, just barely hearable above all the noise of Life. It’s that simple, Christ is calling to Heaven, the world is calling to Hell. You’re in the middle having to choose which “voice” you’ll listen to. You already Know The Truth. Follow Christ and The Truth, and you will Forever, Be Blessed.
