Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 3457

Daily Devotional. Study to shew thyself APPROVED UNTO GOD, a workman that needeth NOT to be ASHAMED, RIGHTLY DIVIDING the word of TRUTH. 2 Timothy 2:15. OK class, it’s time to put down your pencils, turn your test papers over, and let’s see how we all did. I for one have done well in some areas, and have failed miserably in others. Here’s the Setup. Three months ago, America was running along full speed ahead with a VERY Robust economy. The only problem was, we have LOST OUR FIRST LOVE, JESUS CHRIST. We had time for Everything, but Him. THE LORD, (in His Great Mercy and Grace), HIT THE WORLD SQUARELY IN THE POCKETBOOK, and threw the World’s Economy in the dumper. We’ve had the cheapest gas prices in years, with no place to go and nothing to do. We are stuck at home with family and God. Test time, here’s the One Question He Asked, “NOW, do you have Time For Me”? So, how have you done? Did you burn up the internet with lots of TV and movies? Lots of ordering takeout to help keep the little guys somewhat in business? MORE PRAYER THAN EVER BEFORE? MORE FASTING PERSONALLY, AND EVEN AS A FAMILY? MUCH MORE BIBLE STUDY, SEARCHING THE SCRIPTURES, SEEKING THE FACE OF CHRIST THAN EVER IN YOUR LIFE??? Can you see where these Questions are going? ARE YOU CLOSER, MUCH CLOSER TO CHRIST TODAY THAN 3 MONTHS AGO? Your Answer is just between you, and the Lord. What have YOU learned about YOUR Heart’s Attitude towards the Lord God Almighty??? Good? Great. Not good? Is today the day to start making it good? “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live Soberly, Righteously, and Godly, in this present world; Looking for that Blessed Hope, and the Glorious Appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Titus 2:11-13. “And that, knowing the time, that NOW it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our Salvation nearer than when we believed”. Romans 13:11. Study, Be Approved, and Be Blessed.
