Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 3456

Daily Devotional. Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, SLOW TO WRATH: (Thayer’s Definition: Wrath: anger, the natural disposition, temper, character, movement or agitation of the soul, impulse, desire, any violent emotion, but esp. anger, wrath, indignation). For the Wrath Of Man worketh NOT the Righteousness of God. Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity, (man’s feeling of superiority over others before conversion), of naughtiness, (malignity, malice, ill-will, desire to injure, wickedness, depravity, wickedness that is not ashamed to break laws, evil, trouble), and receive with meekness the engrafted word, (inborn, implanted by nature, implanted by others instruction), WHICH IS ABLE TO SAVE YOUR SOULS. But be ye DOERS of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. James 1:19-22. The Wrath, or anger of man, is generally based on MAN’S understanding of a situation or circumstance. Of MAN’S value of his rules, laws and regulations towards others. Of MAN’S understanding of other men’s doings. All in THE MIND OF MAN. Just maybe, if a man will slow down and take some time to seek out THE MIND OF CHRIST, he MIGHT come to understand THE HEART OF THE LORD, in the Matter, as Christ did when He overthrew the tables of the money changers IN THE TEMPLE. Christ was Angry FOR GOoD REASON. Unless and without a Solid Understanding of the Mind of Christ, when a man gets angry or wrathful, it’s always based ON MAN. And a man has no right to be angry with another man, based on MAN’S understanding and knowledge. Read, Study, Do, and Live THE BIBLE, and you’ll Grow in Understanding the difference between the anger of man, and the Anger of God. And THEN, you might have the Right to be Angry at something the Lord is Angry at. Can your anger pass the test of Holiness, Righteousness, and Purity before you put your anger out on someone else? Christ did, and He has shown us ONLY how and when to be Angry. Be NOT Angry, and, Be Blessed.
