Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 3452

Daily Devotional. Blessed is the man that TRUSTETH in the Lord, and whose HOPE the Lord is. For he shall be as a Tree planted by the Waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the River, and shall not see, (be affected by), when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful, (worry about), in the year of drought, NEITHER SHALL CEASE FROM YIELDING FRUIT. Jeremiah 17:7-8. Using the Covid-19 pandemic as an illustration, there are at least 2 ways things can go. 1 is, we are teetering on the edge of Judgment and politicians from the Federal level to local Mayors are testing the Proverbial “Power” waters to see just how far they can push people to obey all their new little laws and regulations. For example, canceling ALL church services while at the same time, allowing criminals out of jail, to stop at the local ABC liquor store, while they take their girlfriend to the abortion clinic to kill a baby, THAT YOU CAN’T GO TO CHURCH TO PRAY ABOUT. And possibility number 2 is, maybe in a month or two all this Coronavirus stuff will be over with and we go back to a “normal” life, then soon to forget whatever lessons we have learned during this Pandemic. Right now, all there is is Family time, and God time. It would be great if we could keep these two priorities on Top AS we go back to “normal”. If we have learned anything from 9-11, it’s that we pretty much didn’t learn anything from 9-11. Politics aside, are YOU, Believer, Seeking the Face of the Lord as you Walk Hand in hand with the Lord Jesus Christ down whatever new Road He has set out for us? Are you willing to abide by man’s laws AND God’s Laws together, as best you can, and continue on with God’s Laws when one contradicts the other? Not in Rebellion, but standing up for Obedience to His Laws when called for? Someday, churches WILL be forced to close as the spirit of anti-christ prevails over the world. For a short time, it IS his world. And Forever, we Belong to Christ. Prepare for His soon Return, and, Be Blessed.
